The Rescue Day & Dog Wash is an event to raise funds for local animal rescues and welfare organizations in central Oklahoma. The proceeds of this event are divided among the participating rescue groups. Our goal this year is to raise $5,000.This year's event will have many of the same highlights as last year and will have more family activities included for this year:  fire trucks for tours and education, dunk tank, face painting, raffle with a grand prize trip to Mexico, dog wash stations, pet-friendly vendors, veterinarian providing low cost vaccinations and micro-chipping, huge collection station for used CDs & DVDs, groomer doing nail clips and ear cleaning, roaming photographer, minister will bless the pets, wineries offering wine tasting, local artists, local band, Big Truck Tacos, The Ice Cream Lady, inflatables for the kids to play on We are also looking for volunteers to assist at the event.
